Tomo route translation
- This is a complete translation of Tomo's love ending only. His other endings will be added later.
- This translation begins immediately after choosing Tomo as Yuki's Bell One partner.
- When there are choices in the text, the "correct" one is noted in bold and only that choice is translated.
- It is VERY difficult (but not impossible) to team up with Tomo if you did not visit him on May 14 and agree to support him. (Choose 'leave it to me!' for decision #2.)
Yuki: Finally! Today's the first day of the Bell One!
Yuki: First, I'll go get Tomo up...
Yuki: Huh? Yes?
(Yuki: Who is it, so early in the morning...?)
Tomo: Morning. As I expected, you're already up.
Yuki: Y, yeah... Rather, you're up.
Yuki: I never thought a sleepyhead like you would come pick me up.
Tomo: Well, every once in a while.
Tomo: Did you sleep well?
Yuki: Like a log. How about you?
Tomo: You know how well I sleep.
Yuki: You're talking about sleeping during class. Don't you sleep during the Bell One.
Tomo: Of course not. I'll definitely do it properly this time.
Tomo: What, you don't trust me?
Yuki: Well, I can't help it, I don't trust your daily routine.
Tomo: You're terrible. Since you asked me to be your partner, that can't be true...
Yuki: Ahaha, I'm kidding. But I'm relieved.
Tomo: By what?
Yuki: You're acting the same as usual.
Tomo: What's that supposed to mean?
Yuki: Even though you remembered the past, your attitude hasn't changed.
Yuki: Come on, let's hurry and go eat breakfast!
student 1: Oh, you're here, Ace.
student 2: Do your best, student council president!
student 3: If you let this place close, we'll never forgive you!!
Yuki: Y, yeah... I'll do my best.
(Yuki: Wow, they're really expecting a lot of me.)
Dora-chan: Yuki-kun, Tomo-kun. Good morning.
Arata: Morning, Ace-kun, Tomomo.
Tomo: Oh, thanks...
Dora-chan: Come, please sit. I will bring out breakfast right away.
Dora-chan: I made gajar halwa special today.
Yuki: Gajar halwa?
Dora-chan: It is an Indian carrot dessert. You boil milk for two hours and put in carrot.
Dora-chan: It is very delicious. I got up early and made it for you two.
Yuki: Wow... I'm really looking forward to it!!
Dora-chan: Yes. Eat lots, and please do your best in the Bell One.
Arata: Carrot dessert, it sounds delicious.
Maro: Kuku! Kuku!
Arata: Dora-chan, Maro says he wants to try it too.
Dora-chan: Too bad, but there is no portion for Maro-san.
Dora-chan: Today, these two are special.
Dora-chan: That is why the gajar halwa is just for these two.
Arata: A special dish just for the two of them, huh?
Dora-chan: I will make it for you next time you are doing your best, Ara-chan.
Dora-chan: People doing their best are special.
Arata: That's right. These two are special.
Okaken: Just what is the meaning of this, Asahina-kun!?
Yuki: Wah!? What is this, first thing in the morning?
Okaken: Why is Kasahara with you!?
Yuki: It's because I asked Tomo to be my partner in the Bell One...
Okaken: W, wha, what did you say!?
Okaken: I stayed up late last night, eagerly waiting for you to ask me to be your partner!?
Yuki: Huh? Why?
Okaken: It goes without saying!!
Okaken: It's obvious that I'm infinitely more useful than Kasahara over there!!
Okaken: It's my knowledge that would make your luck stand out in the Bell One!
Okaken: I'm far more suited to be your partner than such an all-regular, average guy!!
Okaken: There's still time! Change partners!!
Okaken: The Bell One Grand Prix is so important, it'll decide the fate of the school...
Yuki: ...Um, Okaken? I appreciate the sentiment.
Yuki: Tomo, let's hurry and eat.
Okaken: Asahina-kun!! Face this way, I'm not done talking...
Tomo: That Okaken, he never changes...
Tomo: He doesn't realize how biased he is toward his own intelligence.
Yuki: That's true.
Yuki: I'm sure even Okaken will reconsider when he sees you doing your best in the Bell One.
Tomo: I don't really care if he reconsiders...
Yuki: But you're doing your best, aren't you?
Tomo: I guess.
announcement: The first round of the Bell One Grand Prix is about to begin. Will the student council president and his partner please come to the auditorium...
Yuki: Everyone's here.
(Yuki: They're supporting us...!)
Sakaki: You're both here.
Sakaki: Then I'll begin the first round of the Bell One Grand Prix.
Sakaki: To begin with, the first round is a contest to measure your intelligence.
Yuki: What kind of thing will we be doing?
Sakaki: It will be a quiz to measure your memory and abstract reasoning.
Sakaki: As for the detailed rules, since they've been entered into that panda you prepared, I'll have it explain.
Panda-san: Alrighty, Ah'll explain the rules of this game.
Panda-san: Whether this school closes or not, rests on both y'all's shoulders.
Panda-san: Do yer best!!
Yuki: Hey, Tomo. Did you lend that panda to Professor Sakaki?
Tomo: Yeah, the whole system.
Tomo: Professor Sakaki said explaining the rules is too annoying so he entered it all into that.
Yuki: Wow... I think that would be more annoying.
Tomo: That's because you're slow at typing.
Yuki: You're too fast.
Panda-san: As Sakaki-han said, the first round will be a quiz to measure y'all's intelligence.
Panda-san: Ah've even given it a name! "Brain Scramblin' Brains Quiz!"
Panda-san: How about it? Just hearin' the names makes yer head hurt, doesn't it.
Panda-san: Put yer brains into full gear and do yer best.
Panda-san: There are two types of questions. The "memory quiz" and "abstract reasonin' quiz."
Panda-san: Which are ya good at, student council president?
Panda-san: Well, wantin' to choose the one yer good at is human psychology.
Panda-san: But, guess what? Panda-san isn't that nice.
Panda-san: It's a brutal system where ya won't know which kind of questions there'll be until it starts.
Panda-san: Well, the point is, it will depend on y'all's luck.
Panda-san: However, Panda-san hates sneaky people who save and load over and over before the quiz.
Panda-san: If ya do that, Panda-san will hit ya. Hit ya over and over.
Panda-san: No, instead Panda-san might cry.
Panda-san: We don't want that. Then face the fate ya've been given!
Panda-san: There will be ten questions in all.
Panda-san: Ya win if ya get six questions right.
Panda-san: Do ya want to hear the detailed explanation of the rules?
Don't hear it.
(decision: Hear it.)
Panda-san: Alrighty, kind Panda-han will give ya a thorough explanation, so listen carefully.
Panda-san: First, when the question is displayed, ya decide who will answer it.
Panda-san: Ah don't mind if the student council president-han thinks about it himself, or relies on his partner.
(PC only) Panda-san: Choose who will do it with the mouse.
(PC only) Panda-san: When ya've decided who will answer, click on them.
(Vita only) Panda-san: Choose who will do it by moving left or right with the directional key and decide with the O button, or choose directly with a tap.
Panda-san: If yer partner was chosen, even if ya try to answer, they will answer by themselves.
Panda-san: Ya can leave them all to yer partner, but if yer confident in the answer, answerin' yerself is an option.
Panda-san: No matter how smart yer partner is, they're only human. They may make mistakes.
Panda-san: That's where yer partnership is important.
Panda-san: So, back to the quiz.
Panda-san: First, Ah'll explain the "memory quiz."
Panda-san: Well, to put it simply, it's a quiz where you memorize the numbers on playin' cards and answer.
Panda-san: There are two types, number matchin' and number sequencin'.
Panda-san: For the number matchin', the cards are displayed at the beginnin', then ya beat them into yer head so ya don't forget the numbers.
(PC only) Panda-san: Once ya've memorized it, press the "I've memorized it!" button.
(Vita only) Panda-san: Once ya've memorized it, press the O button or tap "I've memorized it!"
Panda-san: There is a time limit to memorize it, so be careful.
Panda-san: Then, from among the face-down cards, like the game Concentration, choose two cards at a time with the same number.
Panda-san: If ya've properly memorized the cards, ya should be able to answer.
Panda-san: For the number sequencin', the cards are displayed at the beginnin', so memorize the numbers so ya don't forget.
Panda-san: Then, from among the face-down cards, choose the cards in numerical order startin' from the smallest.
Panda-san: Alright? In order from the smallest.
Panda-san: For the number matchin' and number sequencin', if ya make any mistake, that's considered a wrong answer.
Panda-san: Since we scrambled the numbers, it might be a teensy bit difficult.
Panda-san: Then, ya can consult yer own brain, or rely on yer partner.
Panda-san: There will be ten questions in all, five number matchin' and five number sequencin' questions.
Panda-san: That's the explanation of the "memory quiz."
Panda-san: Next Ah'll explain the "abstract reasonin' quiz."
Panda-san: On the screen, shapes will be displayed in lined-up slots.
Panda-san: Among them, there will be a box with "?", so think about what to put there that lines up with the shapes to the left and right.
Panda-san: To make a comprehensive judgement of all the factors like color and shape, ya need flexible abstract reasonin'.
(PC only) Panda-san: If ya discover the rule, click the up and down triangles to choose the proper shape for the "?" part.
(PC only) Panda-san: When ya've decided the shape, click the submit button.
(Vita only) Panda-san: If ya discover the rule, tap the up and down triangles, or move the directional key up and down to choose the proper shape for the "?" part.
(Vita only) Panda-san: When ya've decided the shape, press the O button or tap yer selection.
Panda-san: Ya have exactly thirty seconds to answer.
Panda-san: Don't be impatient, think it over slowly.
Panda-san: That's all the explanation of the rules.
Panda-san: How about it? It's complicated, so did ya forget?
Panda-san: Ya wanna hear the explanation again?
Panda-san: So, are ya ready?
Panda-san: Game start!
-- win Bell One, round one --
Panda-san: Oh! Ya did it!!
Panda-san: It's y'all's victory in the first round of the Bell One Grand Prix!!
Yuki: Woohoo, we won!!
Tomo: Yeah, we did it.
Panda-san: The second round is next week, the next match will be an evaluation of your strength.
Panda-san: Go all out and train.
Panda-san: Then, dismissed!
Yuki: We won!!
Yuki: But, the quiz was hard!!
Yuki: I'd have been in real trouble if you weren't there, Tomo.
Yuki: After all, you were trying to be in the regular class on purpose.
Tomo: I told you, it was by chance.
Tomo: I'm just a bit good at those sorts of quizzes.
Tomo: I've always been better than you at puzzles.
Yuki: Well that's true.
Tomo: Besides, it was just that this time, there happened to be questions I could answer.
Tomo: Or rather, I think it was thanks to your luck.
Yuki: I wonder...
(Yuki: Even if it was, I think being able to answer those questions is proof that he's smart...)
Tomo: I'm extremely average.
Yuki: Average, huh.
Yuki: You're always obsessed with that...
Tomo: I don't care. Being average is my identity.
Yuki: ...I don't think that's something to brag about.
Tomo: What is it?
Yuki: We did win the first round. But there's still two rounds left of the Bell One...
(Yuki: I felt like we just somehow managed to win this round, so maybe it would be better if we prepared or studied.)
(Yuki: But... What should we do?)
Try asking someone else.
(decision: Ask Tomo.)
Yuki: Hey, Tomo. Shouldn't we prepare or something for the next one?
Yuki: We don't know what the second round will be, but shouldn't we have some strategy?
Tomo: Not really. I don't think we have to do anything.
Tomo: You should eat properly, sleep, and pray you can showcase your good luck.
Yuki: Tomo, didn't you participate in making the rough draft for the Bell One?
Tomo: Yeah, I guess...
Yuki: Then do you know what sort of thing the second round will be?
Tomo: I did know at one point, but it's not very useful.
Tomo: When I became your partner, the board mostly replaced anything that would give me an advantage.
Yuki: I see...
Tomo: Actually, even the first round was pretty different.
Tomo: So there's probably no point to panicking about it now.
Tomo: You should just pray that next time it's something we can clear.
Tomo: I believe in your luck enough to depend on it.
Tomo: If it's something athletic, I'll manage it somehow. So don't worry.
Yuki: Yeah! Alright!
Yuki: Hey, Tomo.
Yuki: You're kind of cool right now.
Yuki: You're more serious than usual and you seem dependable, I mean...
Tomo: ...What's that supposed to mean. Telling me that so seriously is embarrassing.
Yuki: No... Maybe it's my imagination...
Yuki: I guess it's better compared with the way you usually are.
Yuki: But I'm kind of relieved.
Yuki: Now that I'm calm, I'm hungry.
Yuki: Let's go back to the dorm and eat dinner.
Yuki: Let's eat!!
Tomo: So today's curry is fish...
Yuki: Fish makes really good curry too.
Tomo: It is delicious, but I want to eat fish that doesn't taste like curry...
Yuki: I agree.
Yuki: Come to think of it, Tomo. Why did you choose these seats in the corner?
Yuki: There's still plenty of seats open at this time.
Tomo: I at least want to eat dinner in peace...
Yuki: ...Hm? What do you mean?
Kitazono: Hey, hey, Hirose. They got through the first round of the Bell One.
Hirose: But who knows about next time.
Hirose: It's two regular class guys taking on this school's crisis.
Kitazono: Neither of them has done anything outstanding since coming to the school.
Tomo: Yuki, don't say anything.
Hirose: If I were thinking about the school, I would have teamed up with a guy with real ability from the ultimate class.
Kitazono: Maybe, someone like you?
Hirose: Get real. I don't want to take responsibility for losing.
Hirose: Speaking of, Kitazono, weren't you saying you didn't like the current Ace?
Kitazono: Anyway, that Ace just got to this school.
Kitazono: And he may have beaten Joker in a match once, but he doesn't have any other talents.
Hirose: Seriously. Why did the previous Ace choose that guy as student council president?
Kitazono: The previous Ace would still be somewhat better...
Hirose: Somewhat. But maybe there would still be hope compared to those talentless guys...
Kitazono: Anyway, those first years don't have any attachment to this school.
Kitazono: They don't understand the reality of the danger this school is in.
Yuki: That's not...!
Tomo: Idiot, let it go.
Tomo: They're just grumbling, so leave it alone. They're just unhappy they didn't get chosen, same as Okaken.
Tomo: Besides, they're second years. You'd just lose the argument.
Hirose: But, the school being in danger of closing. It totally sucks.
Hirose: You may be able to transfer somewhere else if this place closes,
Hirose: But I got in because of a minor sport, you know?
Hirose: There's not a lot of other schools that would let me do it...
Kitazono: It's true that the personal expenses involved in going to world class competitions are really harsh.
Fujita: The two of you are getting kind of gloomy.
Hirose: We don't know whether the school will close or not right now. Things are gloomy.
Fujita: Well, that's true.
Fujita: But there's some guys excited about it too, you know? You know Shibano in the tennis club, don't you?
Hirose: What about him?
Fujita: He said the rumor that this place might close has gotten out, it seems.
Fujita: He said he immediately started hearing from scouts from other schools.
Hirose: Must be nice to be a famous star player. Always in demand.
Hirose: Damnit, what am I supposed to do? Of course I'll be left out in the cold!
Kitazono: Calm down.
Hirose: How can I be calm!?
Hirose: Why does my fate have to rest on those mediocre guys!? I can't accept it.
Kitazono: I agree...
Hirose: If he'd teamed up with someone like Joker, I could have accepted defeat.
Tomo: ...Yuki, be quiet and eat. It's getting cold.
Yuki: *munch* ... I guess... there's a lot I didn't realize...
Yuki: Like the feelings of the other students at this school...
Tomo: I told you, don't worry about it.
Yuki: ...You're not discouraged, Tomo?
Tomo: About what?
Yuki: They called you mediocre too, right?
Tomo: Let them say whatever they like. It's true that I'm mediocre.
Yuki: But you...
Tomo: It can't be helped.
Tomo: The school they're at might close.
Tomo: We can't do anything about them being worried.
Tomo: Don't look like that.
Tomo: Whatever the result of the Bell One, I won't let them lose the chance to follow their dreams.
Yuki: Tomo... you...
Tomo: Even if it's just in name, I'm basically the director. I'll at least do that before the school closes.
Tomo: So you don't worry about it too much either.
Yuki: Yeah. Thanks.
Tomo: That said, you must be worried with things like this too.
Tomo: Like they said, you can still change to a partner who's more likely to win.
Tomo: There's guys more exceptional and more motivated than me at this school.
Yuki: Oh no...
I'd never consider that.
You don't want to be my partner?
(decision: I'd never consider that.)
Yuki: What are you saying!? I'd never do that!!
Kitazono: They were here?
Tomo: Idiot... I told you not to be so loud...
Yuki: You're the idiot, Tomo!! I'm not worried about having you as my partner!!
Yuki: I asked you because I wanted to team up with you.
Yuki: If I was worried, I wouldn't have asked you in the first place!
Yuki: I think you're better than anyone else as my Bell One partner.
Yuki: The most important thing in a Bell One partner is whether you can trust them or not.
Yuki: Isn't that true!?
Tomo: ...Yeah, you're right.
Yuki: I'm counting on you, Tomo.
Tomo: ...Yeah, thanks.
Yuki: Anyway! As long as we win the Bell One, the school won't close.
Yuki: Everyone's worries will disappear and there will be no problem.
Yuki: Yeah! Let's do that!
Tomo: ...really are a positive thinker.
Yuki: Well, it doesn't help anything to think about what we'll do if we lose, or what will happen if we fail.
Yuki: Or maybe it just hasn't sunk in that the school is in danger or might close.
Tomo: I'm jealous of the way you think...
Yuki: Haha, my friends and parents are always making fun of me that I'm too simple.
Tomo: I'm sure.
Tomo: But I think your optimism is a powerful weapon.
Yuki: I hope it is...
??: Oh! If it isn't Asahina-kun over there!!
Okaken: I heard! You successfully cleared the first round of the Bell One.
Okaken: Even if it was a fluke, I'm glad, I'm glad. This gives me a little bit of hope.
Yuki: A fluke, that's mean...
Okaken: What could it be other than a fluke?
Okaken: You with only your luck, and all-regular Kasahara-kun.
Okaken: That you two passed the quiz put out by the board and got through the first round...
Okaken: Is nothing but a fluke to my mind.
Okaken: Have you thought about teaming up with me for the second round?
Yuki: No, I have no intention of doing that.
Tomo: Even I'd stop him from teaming up with you.
Okaken: Both of you are refusing me!?
Tomo: There's probably a good chance that the second round is a test of strength.
Tomo: Do you still think you can win? You're regular just in PE.
Okaken: Ugh. That's true...
Okaken: B, by the way, I have certain information...
Tomo: Anyway, it's going to be occult information no one cares about.
Okaken: No, no, listen to me.
Tomo: Hey, what's with you?
Okaken: This is just between us, but according to the information I have, there are some students who aren't happy you're in the Bell One.
Yuki: We already know that.
Yuki: We heard rumors about it earlier.
Yuki: But if we win, they won't have any problem, right?
Okaken: That's not it.
Okaken: It seems like there are some students who plan to use the closing to transfer to other schools.
Okaken: There's also students being scouted by other schools, with good offers.
Yuki: Oh, come to think of it, we heard that too...
Okaken: This place is fine for the number one person, the problem is being number two and below.
Okaken: Even if they're happy being number two here, since they had the ability to get into BL School, they could stand at the top at another school...
Okaken: So there's a rumor that there's people who want to tempt you to lose, so they can transfer with good offers.
Yuki: No way...
Tomo: ...It's true it's not unthinkable.
Okaken: Anyway, I've warned you. You guys be careful.
Yuki: ...Thanks for the warning.
Yuki: But how do you know something like that?
Tomo: Yeah. Your information source seems different from those guys who were gossiping before.
Okaken: Heh heh heh. Good question, you two.
Okaken: That demonstrates the power of the high-dimensional search tool I independently developed!
Yuki: High-dimensional search tool?
Okaken: Actually, there are several closed community sites at the school.
Okaken: Of course, you can't see that information from the outside.
Okaken: But using the high-dimensional search tool I developed let me get hits on that information.
Tomo: Huh? If I remember correctly, your search tool can search places you can't normally view.
Tomo: To put it the other way, if it's not possible to search normal sites, isn't it nonsense information?
Okaken: ...Well, sometimes.
Tomo: That's why I thought it wasn't good for anything but ghost hunting?
Okaken: It's true that I did get information I couldn't understand, but...
Okaken: This time, I was able to reconstruct several pieces of information.
Okaken: Among them, there were requests floating around to sabotage you during the Bell One with the promise of benefits after transferring...
Okaken: There were even some that hinted at cash...
Yuki: Who!? Who would do something like that!!?
Tomo: Did you find out the source?
Okaken: Ugh. Well...
Okaken: I only got the content of the conversation, not who they were...
Yuki: You don't know?
Tomo: After all, it's useless.
Yuki: Sabotage, huh...
Yuki: I want to believe there aren't people like that at this school, but...
Tomo: There's also the deal with the armband.
Tomo: But if we win, it's fine, so don't worry too much...
